Directions

From Berkeley Springs, take 522 SOUTH to the left on Rt. 13 (Winchester Grade Road) and PROCEED 6 MILES, crossing several bridges. After crossing the SECOND ONE LANE BRIDGE (very narrow), proceed about 300 yards watching for Sporting Clays Range (see photo below) sign and neighbors mailbox 6265 on right. Turn left into WINDSOR LANE, pass neighbor's gray house, barn and utility lines and proceed THROUGH FOREST to end of the road (one-half mile).

From Winchester and Points South, pass Cacapon Resort State Park, and continue on 522 NORTH 1.9 miles and go right on Luther Michael Road. Follow road 4.1 miles to "T" intersection with Rt. 13 (Winchester Gate Road) and turn right. Proceed about 200 yards to one lane bridge and follow directions given above for proceeding beyond the second one lane bridge.

From Martinsburg there are two options:
Long Way -- Route 9 West and follow directions from Berkeley Springs.
Shanghai Shortcut -- From Interstate 81 Exit 13, (King St. & Tuscarora Pike) follow Tuscorora Pike 9.6 miles to Shanghai. Proceed straight through Shanghai and follow Shanghai Road for 7.8 miles to "T" intersection at Winchester Grade Rd. Turn right and follow road 5.6 miles to Range. When you pass the Mt. Olivet Church and cemetery on the left you are 7/10 of a mile to your turn into WINDSOR LANE. At mailbox 6265 turn right on Windsor Lane and proceed 1/2 mile through forest into the range.
